If you are like me, and many parents and caregivers, you are disgusted with the education system today. And with all honesty, I have been a part of that system for the past thirty years! It’s hit or miss these days as to whether kids are learning anything … at all levels of ‘schooling.’ And the liberal mindset is infecting our education system. Yes, you read that correctly. The focus, it seems, is on pumping out a generation of government-loving robots that are more focused on their disdain for themselves and their community than what their own God-given talents are. And, in spite of a massive increase in spending on ‘public education’ systems, student capabilities are at an all time low!

Our public systems are failing them. More and more, they are unprepared for life. Many feel helpless and hopeless, as their sense of self-actualization dwindles or disappears. We must, as parents and caregivers, take full responsibility for teaching our own children. Teaching them the foundational skills of life; reading, writing, mathematics, science, engineering, creative arts, critical thinking … and love of self and others.

We must work together to help each child discover and develop their talents, and provide opportunities for them to work with others to apply their knowledge and skills to everyday life. Everyday problem solving.
